PROSTATE1000 is proud of and grateful for the support offered by Swing Search & Talent, for this 2019 fund-raising ride, from Paris to Monte Carlo.
Please join the team, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK, in demonstrating our collective gratitude, by making a donation to this campaign under the banner of this much appreciated supporter, without whose help this would not have been possible.
This help has enabled us to ride our 600 miles, nearly 1,000km, ascending over 26,000ft cumulatively in six days.
This help has enabled us to continue and contribute to the fight against prostate cancer.
Why are we, and our supporters doing this? Every 3.2 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer – in 2019, over 1.6 million men worldwide will be diagnosed. (Statistically, over our six-day bike ride alone, an estimated 26,300 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer…..that is over 1 new diagnosis for every foot that we ascend on our bikes.). We’re riding to put the brakes on these statistics – raising money to directly fund researchers who at this very moment, are working in the US and UK to find a cure.
Where your generous donation goes:
- You can trust that every dollar donated will go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and to Prostate Cancer UK (PCUK). (Each rider is 100% self-funded and is paying their own expenses, covering their equipment, bike shipments, international flights, hotels, food etc. with assistance from our cherished corporate sponsors and partners)
- The last two bike rides raised nearly $150K - and every penny went directly to the PCF, and to PCUK to fund the very research that is seeking out the cure for this deadly disease
- Each member is campaigning hard to help raise the team's goal of $200K on this year’s ride. Even if you can only spare $1 dollar, your tax-deductible contribution will go miles in financing research.
Please click on the donate button NOW. Please share this page with as many friends, family, colleagues and those you know who have battled the disease, as is possible!
PLEASE DONATE TODAY! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
About the 2019 PROSTATE1000 “PARIS to MONTE CARLO” Ride for Research
Founded in 2009 by Gideon Lang-Laddie, PROSTATE1000 has biked from Manhattan to Montauk, from London to Paris, this year from Paris to Monte Carlo, and has built-up countless miles of training along the way. Gideon started the organization after he lost his father, Sir Hugh Laddie, to prostate cancer, and set about helping to fund research into a cure, so that no further lives need be lost.
